How to remove Door Ajar sensor??

Just like the title says. I got the drivers side door panel off now im trying to figure out how to get the sensor off without breaking anything. Thanks for the help.

It is a bit of a pain, but you have to pull the whole door lock assembly. Start by removing the clip the holds the door lock lever, and remove. You then need to unsnap the retainer that holds the outer door handle actuator that is closest to the outer door as well as the key lock lever, then you remove the three bolts that hold the assembly and carefully work the assembly around the window guide will be a little tough because of the cable, once it is out you can work the assembly to remove the cable. take your time and try not to rush it and look it over as best you can. you have three actuator rods to disconnect, I have tried it with and without removing the three retaining bolts.
