Dually Diff Cover

ok guys, thought i read something bout dually having a different rear axle from non dually, was looking at putting in fresh lube and someone mentioned upgrading to the 08 finned diff cover, will that work on my early 99 dually?

You should have a Dana 80 rear diff. You can get the 08 cover, as long as it's for a D80.
What gear oil you gonna use? I used Schaeffer's 75W140. I also added the LS modifier since mine is.
