Nope not worth it. If you want a bigger turbo look at Bean's bolt on d-66 turbo. If you still want to swap you will need up pipes, collector from up pipes to turbo, turbo pedistal, spyder, intercooler pipes, and the intake manifolds.

I did it. Its quite the pain. I know some places sell kits with everything you need. I recommend it. I did the GTP38R turbo at the same time. Its awesome. Sounds like a semi!

I can tell you all the parts you need. I couldn't find the conversion kit. I thought it was Riffraff Diesel Performance Parts | Ford 7.3 diesel | 7.3 powerstroke | Ford Powerstroke | 7.3L Powerstroke Parts that had it. But Clay there can put it together for you. I wish I would have done the bellowed up-pipes when I did it. All you need is the x-pipe, pedestal, up-pipes and y-pipes, of course the turbo. You can make the stock intake plenums, however they are smaller than the 00 ones, I got some off of ebay to make it all perfect.

the early 99 whistles, later models do not have the whistle as that is the wicked wheel in the early model in the turbo that makes that sound, the bigger turbo does not whistle, just louder, and believe me, that whistle at times is annoying.
