help cant program my keyless entry remot

new to this fourm wanted to say hey to every one and ask for a little help i have tryed turning it on and off 5,6,7,8,9 and locks dont cycle. i just replaced the actuators to day. oh and im keepinh mu foot off the break

Are you sure the truck has the keyless remote option? Both my trucks have power locks, but did not cycle when I tryed the key on/off trick, and neather one came with a remote fob. The Excursion, however, worked like a charm... cycled the key, left it in the on position, and locks cycled... hit the botton on the remote, and it was done... easy as pie if the remote reciver is present.

Unless you have info on the contrary (as in, you had an old remote that did work), my guess is you don't have remote keyless... I found out the hard way, and now have 2 spare fobs that go to nothing!
