Exclamation Check Your Intake!!!!!

In the process of removing the stock intake system to replace injector and install a 6637 air filter I noticed this.

And the final picture is the result of running it this way for who knows how long.

This is on a early 99 f250. If any of you have a truck like this with over 200K miles, check yours immediately.

No, it wasn't making any strange noises. I think we will keep running it the way it is for now, it's our farm truck but I"ll keep you in mind in case dad wants to do something. Thanks for the help.

It happed to me already and I had to replace the turbo cause it had 1 chipped fin that was bad enough that it wasn't balanced anymore and you could hear it.

I know it's an older truck, but being stock I think ford should have a recall on that part of the intake.
