egt ?

Hey guys iam new to the site and i love it.

now for the ? about the egt I have an e99 f350 xlt i have a s&b intake and the edge eveloution and a 4" exhaustthat used to go to a 8" stack but i took off the stack and just turned the 90* down. But b4 i took off the stack i was running like 900 to 1000 egt with the stack (on extream) now i and running 1000 to 1200 egt w/out the stackand nothing els has changed(on extream) so if you have any in put or experiance in this id liek to know about it cuz i dont want to burn up my motor

Start with turning the tunes down and see if that helps. That's pretty hot for normal driving.
