PCM swap question

Is this PCM better than the PMT1?

2001 F-Series 7.3L DI TC VRAA7S5 1C3F-ZC 1F719S0A10 DPC-422 216 5A07 PMT2 DIESEL 250/350 INCREASES CLUTCH PRESSURE OVER PMT1

I found a ZC pcm for 200 bucks at a local junk yard close by and wondering if its worth the purchase and why. I do hate the shifting of my truck. It has bad shift flares some times and would like more solid shift points.
