Steering gearbox question

Can anyone tell me if a 2005 f250 steering gearbox will work on the 1999 f250?

More of a bump than anything else...

Not sure if the gearbox changed when they went to the coil spring front end in 2005 or not... I've heard of the pitman arm/splines out of the gear box being different from E99 to 99.5 and later... but have never checked myself... should do that now that I have one of each...

Might work... but wouldn't surprise me if they changed to coil springs... major suspention mod, likely affected the gearbox... but maybe not.
