E99 Narrow Frame?

I went to order a E-brake cable for my truck and they asked if its a narrow frame or wide frame, do the early 99's have Narrow frames? mine was built 10-98
if so how different are the frames?

I was wondering the same thing, just never had a reason I had to ask for the answer. How to tell a wide frame or a narrow one. I have seen a few parts that they ask that for, but wasn't aware of a frame difference. Here's a free bump.

i think its actually the difference in pickup and cab/chassis trucks not e99 and reg99 but im not positive if i remember right the frame is narrower on the c/c trucks than pickups

uh what? i never heard of this. yes i can imagine the 450 and up have a different frame.
