how to gut ebpv on early 99
I have a early 99 7.3L powerstroke and I'm thinking about gutting out that butterfly valve on the turbo. Can i just cut out the butterfly valve and leave the rod and call it good or is there more to it to have it run properly?

yes you can..if you do pull the rod out..you can plug the hole with a 3/4" freeze plug..
