Pass door window issue
Hey guys i need some help tryign to figure out this window issie. A while back the pass window started to mess up. Would only go down but would only go down if you used the controls on the pass side door. Seemed to be a hit a miss thing. One day it would work great from both sets of controls and then the next it will only go down with the pass controls and wont even go up. So I would open and close the doors and it would start working. Im thinking it’s a connection issue. So today on the way to work window only goes down with the pass controls and I can not get it to go back up with either controls opening and closing the door shacking the harness in the door jam nothing seems to work. Any ideas? I have been trying to read and find issue but not having much luck. Seems to be a common issue though. Don’t get why pass side controls will lower the window but not up and the driver side wont do anything. PLEASE HELP. BTW its an Early 99 250

Likely the pully broke that raises and lowers the window... My Dodge did this for a while, and probably a power connection on the drivers side controls. It's a pain to pull the door apart, but the switches in the Dodge work perfectly now...

I dont think its the pully i onl yhave the window half down cuz i didnt want it going all the way down. but it will still go down if i push the button so i dont think its a pully. I hate pulling the doors apart such a pain. |

Found the issue. Broken wire in the loom on the driver side. Looks like someone else had the same issue with it before i bought the truck they just used a butt connector but didn’t add any wire so it pulled out of the connector again. Glad it’s a simple fix.
