suspension question?

the guy i bought my 99 f350 from said it has a 4in lift on it but i don't think so maybe an old wore out leveling kit it front... so how can i tell what it has on it. I'm running 35 on it right know but they rub pretty good when doing hard left turns.

my next question: on the rear the spings dont have those uper overload spings or the pads that they would hit on the frame i noticed them on a lot of other 350 and 250 trucks and was wondering whats the deference.

thanks for your help
Joel

how thick is the spring pac front and rear ??

on the rear some trucks (not all) have over load springs..mine does..there will be a bump stop on the fraim rail and a single leaf above the stock leaf pac...when 1500 lb is added to the rear of the truck the single leaf should be hitting the bump stop...that will help hold the weight added to the truck and help keep it from sagging rather then the stock springs doing it all..

Some one added a add-a-leaf to your front and has saged, you can add the spacer and overload to your rears but you will need the frame stops.

the spring in the rear looks like this
top spring #1 has the eyes on the end obveusly
spring #2 a little shorter square ends
spring #3 shorter still w/square ends
spring #4 shorter still w/round ends and a little more black is this a add a leaf
