intercooler delete to do or not to do
This is my first post!!!! I am new to powerstroke.org and am very excited to be a member. After owning 8 different OBS powerstrokes over the years,
I have an early 99 and cant help but saying I have noticed the way that the intake spider was made and the restrictive flow that it seems to create. Would it be beneficial to delete the intercooler and put an OBS intake from the turbo directly into the intake plenums. Has anyone tried this?

WELCOME TO ORG ! !
I would suggest converting it to a Late 99 which has the 3 inch intake plenums and IC tubing I would not remove the IC the turbo of the Late 99 99 is also diff you would need the whole setup including up-pipes |
