It can hold like 37psi but not for long! Anything over 27psi really will shorten it's life immensely.

Stay within the MAP. 27-29PSI. Normally anything over 30 Pounds of boost is just super heated air and you lose a lot of power. Plus, if its a Non-Intercooled motor and you blow a compressor wheel up your motor may be toast.
