On the way home the turbo started making an odd noise and smoke satarted pouring out the exhaust. I am about to go pull it!

Wish me luck!

Bearings are gone, seals are gone and the shaft moves a half inch full side to side. I think I set a record pulling it though, 45 minutes!

I am planning to stay stock. I dont really need or want the extra power (not that I dont think it is cool). I have had this truck for years and havent put a chip on itso no need to upgrade the turbo right now. Someday maybe!

I got a problem here. My comp wheel is just spinning in place on the shaft so I am not able to get it off. Any suggestions?

That sucks dude.... According to paperwork mine was rebuilt at 150k or something like that. I dread ever losing it like you did but I would hope to get it out as fast as you did but then again this is what you do for a living so its impressive.
