when is the last time you changed your fuel filter? if not recently do it now and did he actually test the injectors or is he guessing?

I changed it about 100 miles or so ago. He said he tested them but who knows?? would the truck run ok for awile and then loose power and shut down as if it ran out of fuel when injectors are bad...

unrelated but also check for leaks on the orings on the back of the fuel filter

It turned out to be Air in the fuel line, probably from a faulty fuel filter...

It sounds like the filters in the mixing chamber are clogged, if it comes back check them.

My '01 didn't have a cat - Here is the sticker on the underside of the hood near the latch.

somebody told me the early 99 with a auto had them and the 6 speeds didnt

heck i dunno i pulled the stock exhaust off mine and there was no kitty anywhere to be found same with a buddies truck no cat

My early 99 used to have a cat but the previous owner removed it. As much as I hate to do I need to put one back on cause I live in the only county in Utah that checks. Anybody want to sell me your old one?
