my early 99 had one too. a week later it mysteriously disapeared... straight pipe!!! woo woo. however my 02 did not have one. but my dads new 08 has 21 of them!!! plus a dpf... hahahaha

My cat is clogged and the machanic said I need to replace it or it will throw codes... Is that true or can i just remove it???

My 96 had one. It was gutted when I pulled it off but it was there. My late 99 didnt.

My cat ran away, apparently it was afraid of the dog. LOL...... However it hangs out on a garage shelf just waiting for communist california to require smog which is reportedly next year.

Yes it will throw a code for excessive back pressure.

Im so glad my 02 doesnt have one I dont know where the truck originally came from I wanna look that up too.

So that didn't fix the problem.. Truck looses power and stalls, acts as if its runnung out of fuel.. Machanic says I have two bad injectors. Would that cause the problem. I dont want to keep putting money into quess work buy the machanic...
