Help with 98 7.3 Conversion Van E350 info

I'm looking at a 98 7.3 1-ton conversion van and I'm having trouble finding any info on them? Looks like they are sometimes referred to as an e99 but cannot confirm this

Anyone know any pros/cons/issues/specs on these? I want to be able to haul the whole family and drag my camper. It's a 36' 9500# tag-along. My 01 flatbed CC 350 does the job now but is tight with 2 car seats and 3 dogs

Any help or insight will be appreciated!

Not sure if your van is an e99 or not but im sure a ford dealer can tell you once provided with the info. Either way, the 7.3 is a monster and should tow that trailer w/o problems. I would get an EGT gauge and scan gauge II to monitor engine vitals.

I would always carry a CPS with you (cam position sensor), check the air filters, coolant level and sca content and transmission. I believe this model will have the e40D transmission so I would check over it extensively as they and the 4r100 (found in 99-03 models) trannies are know for failing. If it has been rebuilt, you may not have any worries. Good Luck

im sure its a e99 with the 4r100.
and the vans dont have intercoolers either.
