1999 E350 blowing fuel pump fuse
I have a 1999 powerstroke 7.3 that keeps blowing the fuel pump fuse. This even happens when the fuel pump is disconected. Any ideas?

use a 12v light bulb, like an old tailight socket, with long enough leads to see it. the bulb provides resistance, won't burn anything, and when you wiggle the wires and find the short, the light will flicker or go out. if you have an intermittant short, you can use a seatbelt chime, wiggle away, and listen for it when you wiggle and cause the short.
