Econoline Specs Year to Year

So I recently acquired 2 1997 E350's and was looking for some Econoline Specs/Changes Year to Year. Diesel Engine models of corse.

Im very familiar with the truck or F series year to year changes. However Im having a hard time finding information on the E series changes/ differences

Ive done quite a bit of searching and come up with little bits but hoping to find some more. And what parts are factory and offer more performance that are interchangeable.

Example would it be worth putting my stock 03 turbo onto my 97 van? Maybe just the exh housing.

When did the Econoline go split shots and 4r100. 15 Degree to 17 degree HPOP? Im thinking it was around the same time but looking to confirm.

This build im looking to waste as little time and $$$ as possible.

Alot of guys use the van turbo on trucks as an upgrade. I think the non WG bigger exh housing helps control EGT better. Probably helps with drive pressure too.
