Hey Dick, I am experiencing the same problem as you. My transmission works great, I pull a trailer regularly. Here lately I have noticed that it is sometimes difficult to get my overdrive button to come on to disengage the o/d. I have found that for some reason if I pull the trans down in first I can hit the button and the light will come on no problem. I am trying to figure out why this is. I think we might have similar problems.... I think it just might be something electrical.

won't go to first or second
dragr8cer, I read your email and decided to give it a try. I went out and started it up, and shifted down to first, only thing I couldn't get past drive, (od). Tried and tried but it won't go down past drive. Like it's up against a stop. Didn't really reaf on it, as didn't want to break anything, but tried pretty hard. Anyone have any ideas. I also tried to push the od button to see if that would allow me to down past drive, but no dice.
