2005 e-350 no crank

i got a 2005 e-350 6.0. go to start it this morning and won't crank, no dash lights, no accesory power. it used to click like a solenoid stuck but i would just pull up on the shifter and it would fire up. now it is dead. it does on ocassion have the gauges twitch momentarily then quit. the batteries have been replaced about 2 months ago. maybe a bad key switch?
