07 f350 wheels on 97 e350

Stock 18" diesel 8 lug '07 f350 wheels on a 97 diesel e350 ... Will it work? The lug pattern and everything looks the same but my mechanic says the lug nuts and thread pattern are different and it won't work. Any input is appreciated thanks.

won't work... diffrent bolt pattern. Van is 8 lugs on 6.5" bolt circle, Superduty trucks are 8 on 170mm, with diffrent back spacing on the '05 and newer trucks from the '99 to '04's. Difference is about an 1/8 of an inch, but it's enough to not work.
