the block heater is not working in the van any more, and i called the parts department and i think i may have just got a ****ing idiot on the line, but he said they do not make a new chord for the block heater any more.

so where am i going to get one, i was 99% sure that its going to be a dealer only part

The heater is fine? It would be pretty easy to just splice in new wiring, and run it out the front of the truck, if that's your issue.
