fuel filter problem leak...help
its 2000 e350 cargo van. diesel fuel leak from top of the engine. i suspect its from the filter housing most likely the yellow small drain handle. from reading around its the o ring in that handle. now the problem is getting in to the fuel filter housing. i removed air filter and heat shield but still can't access it neither from front or doghouse. any help how to get in to the filter housing. do i need to remove the turbo to do a fuel filter
??? in my F450 alot easier as the air filter is on the side and you can access the fuel filter from the top

you don't need to remove the dog house, I remove intake box, unbolt the wiring connector, and unbolt the intake muffler, and push it out of the way, On these its a little easier to use a hammer and long screw driver to spin off the filter top, it sounds like you might be leaking from the water drain, the cable snaps off a lot in these trucks, just manually push it shut. When you change the filter make sure you seat the o ring correctly, or it will leak like nobody's business.
