2000 E350 Sway Bar Bushes
Hello all. Hopefully you can help me out! I need to replace the front sway bar bushes (the rubber bush that is pressed into the lower suspension arm) and need some help. The metal outer casing is pretty corroded and won't press out of the lower arm. Any suggestions on how to get it out? The rubber part separated from the outer housing which is the part that is well and truly stuck!
Thanks in advance Ben |

If it's easy access you can score/gouge (use a file, chisel, dremel, etc) a line from edge to edge of the inner surface. This creates a weak spot, use a pointed chisel to catch the edge of the area next to the scatch and with a hammer tap it towards the center and this should break it loose.
Hope this helps. Jim |
