Smile keep or kill

hello all- i just bought an 05 e-350 w/6.0. i dont know about history other than it was a lease vehicle to a heating/cooling company. 117,000 miles. i have heard of people having probs with the 6.0--am i headed for troubled water or should i sell now and buy gas--am not going to be pulling with van--just highway cruising with very little weight

you left out most of the details. does it run good? spray oil out of the bumper? with what you've given I'm guessing the truck doesn't have any outward problems, and should be just fine. now with the current higher cost of diesel vs gas your question is a valid one? you say your not going to put any weight on it, I'd say trade to gas.

trade to gas if you are not going to use it commercially or tow...

6.0 in the van is a crap shoot at best....

engine seems to start slightly hard--not bad--and for first mile it will puff white smoke some and then clear out---almost like it was loaded up--ive heard of this problem--ran some sea-foam thru it and it helped
