6.9 swap to a 91 E350 gas with a E4OD

I have a 87 E350 6.9 with fatal rust problems, many miles and a fresh engine. I want to put the engine in a 91 E350 with a E4OD. I have both vans. What problems may I run into. Can I use the torque converter from the 91 5.8 gas on the 6.9 flywheel.

I'm guessing you should be able to make this happen, but I think you'd need the diesel version of the tork converter for the newer trans, unless you use the trans that is already with the 6.9L motor. Otherwise, if I recall, thoes should both be the same body style, I'd guess the motor mounts and stuff should swap over from one to the other. Good luck...
