Ive never personally chsnged the oil and filter in my 2005 e350 with 6.0 diesel. Any pointers about removing the filter?

remove the plug from the bottom of the filter housing and drain the filter housing before removing it. It takes an allen key of some sort to do this. The thing seals with an o-ring that should come with the new filter. Lube the new o-ring with clean oil, and screw the housing back on over the new filter. Don't get gorilla-with-a-4-foot-cheater-bar tight with it. I think it takes like 20ft-lbs or one hand tight.
