powerstroke E350
I`m thinking of getting an E350 Ford van with the powerstroke. What can I expect as far as everday mpg? I know that it will tow whatever I put behind it.What kind of miliage should I expect from it? My Ford van now has 210,000 on it with the 300 I-6 gas engine. Is this the same engine as the pickups? Am I able to "enhance" this engine,ie chips, tuning programs, etc?
Is there any years that are better than the others? I dont need a "new" van,I dont care if its new,or 3-5 years old Thanks,Keith |

My Experience with MPG
I have a 2006 E-350 with the stock 6.0 PSD with 4.11 rear end. I get around 16-18 on avg when not towing. Towing my toyhauler fully loaded (about 7,700 lbs), I am getting an average of 11.5 mpg. I use synthetics throughout.
