Level kit question

If I put a level kit on my 2006 F350 dually what size tires can I clear without having to "cut" anything? btw 17" wheels on truck.

Its a 4 wheel drive. I know in 16" thats a 285, is it the same for a 17" wheel? Will I need spacers in the rear?

im running 285/70r17s on mine. Im running a spacer in the rear. Not sure if its needed. It was on there when i bought the truck.

285 is the section width (width of the tire in millimeters). The height of the tire is going to depend on the aspect ratio, which is the second number in a tire size. For instance 285/70-17 is going to be 285mm (11.2") wide and the sidewall height is going to be 70% of that, or 200 mm (7.85"), with a 17" rim giving you an overall diameter of 32.71 inches.
