Lowering Shackle Install

I have my buddies early 99 dually trying to install lowering shackles and ran into some problems. I read the directions, was poorly typed but sounded easy enough. I jacked the rear and unbolted the shock then sat the truck back down and took the bottom nuts off the shackles and fought with the top but now I can't get neither of the bolts out through the shackle. The top looks impossible because the frame dont give it enough room and haven't tryed much with the bottom. Suggestions?

Persistance. PB Blaster penitrant, and maybe a torch... May have to torch the heads off the bolts, and remove the whole spring pack, drive the bolt out, and replace with new, depends on how rusted it is inside the spring bushing... might be time for new bushings too.
Dunno.... hard to say without seeing it... hope this is some help, even though I might have just made it sound like a bunch more work... sometimes a seemingly easy job turns out to be much more than planed.

Good luck...

I'm doubting that this is even the right shackle because I looked at their website and the shackle they sent is adjustable and the one they show for f350 has just 1 position and doesn't say anything about being adjustable like the others say. I believe I will contact them

Guys....if your trying to do an install and follow directions and the directions has more mistakes in it than you can count.....THROW THEM AWAY!!! I finally decided to do it the way I thought it should be done instead how they said and it slid right in.

A little common sence goes along way... sometimes idiots are writeing the directions, and when you read them, you realize you know more with out them!
