Spacer question

Alright guys I love my truck and just got some new wheels put on her. I am running cooper at3 and love em but looking at the truck this weekend I need bigger tires. I pull everyday all day and just want to step up the tire size a bit. I'm running 245/70/17now and was wondering how big will fit without spacers ? I would like a 265 or 285 Or if I do run spacers is that gonna affect my towing capabilities weight wise?

255/80/17 by bfg KM2 are about as big as you can go without spacers. I think it's like a 33 inch tire but not every wide. About a 1/4 inch wider than stock. As far as spacers I went with Freds steel spacers and was told I should have no problem towing with them. I'm running 37's
