Dually Tire Rotation

Hello,

Well I to have fallen prey to the fat bottom girl. I just got my first dually. How do you rotate the tires for wear? I hate to sound like a noob but can the front and rear rims be flipped outer rear to front front to outer rear? It seems that the inner rear have the least wear of the six? Is this normal? Do I need to remount the tires each time I rotate? Also interval are you rotating at? I know a lot of questions but I want to get it right!

Thanks

Well you can't just rotate 'em. The tires have to be swapped from rims. Unless you have 6 of the same rims. I don't remember how they rotate, i'll find it.

Outside rears go to inside rears
inside rears goes to fronts
fronts go to outside rears.

Thanks for the link. So every 5000 miles I have to have all 6 tires rotated and dismounted and remounted? What is that costing guys?

Why would you have to dismount the tires from rims? Is the inside rear not an aluminum rim? Wouldn't it be cheaper in the long run to just get aluminum rims?

That is what I have front and rear outside are aluminum and insides are steel so are the rear outside rims and fronts the same? I guess that then I will only have to switch 4 tires if that is the case. How often are guys rotating the tires for even wear?
