What is the difference...FRONT vs REAR

I have a 2002 DRW 7.3 CC 4x4. What is the difference in factory aluminum rims between the front and rear. I noticed that they have stamped numbers on them and the fronts are stamped "FRONT" and "REAR" on the rears. I'm getting ready to rotate the tires and I'm trying to find out if I need to dissmount the tires in order to do so................

Thanks in advance,

Mark

go side to side

i don't think you'll be able to swap front with outer dualls. they should be different rims. you can swap across (side to side) on the front and same on rear. if your rims are alum. your rear inner tires are probably steel. if you want to do it by the book, the tires have to be broken off the rims and then remounted and balanced to be done properly.

The front rims are polished on the outside not the inside so if you rotate the front to the rear it will be dirty showing out. Same goes for the rear.

I did it with my stock rims on my '06, front to outer back and besides them looking a little dingy they were fine.
