ok so the most critical braking is in the front

so ill get the ats in the front

but for the back i was wondering what would be best in back

the mt or the at.

i just need good road traction and some off road traction.
b4 i took off my ht in the front, i had tested them on dry pavement and truck stops nicely
then i put some used mts in the front for now and the braking has decreased some.

just wondering

Would you post a link that shows they are actually 10 ply and not "10 ply rated"? If they are you would almost have to use split rims.

I have been running 255/85/16's on the DRW for a couple years now with no issues. Hard tire to find but towing very heavy has never been an issue with the tires.

Biggest load across the scales combined was 28,620 lbs, no rubbing.

Thanks for the info Dougger! What is the brand and model of tire that your using? Also are they a load range D with extra capacity because of its size or are they a true load range E? Thanks

You are welcome!

The brand and model is,
Dunlop Radial Rover RV XT
Not sure though what load range they are. I'll check and post back.
I had them mount the white wall out and they are decent looking tires. Fairly good traction at a good price, $170 a tire.

I know the Dueller Ravo's are the highest load range made and they are junk. The worker wheeled back a lower grade and told him he grabbed the wrong one.
