Looking for info

I am looking to convert my 1999 F250 2wd shortbed supercab to a dually I have the chance to pick up a 1999 f350 4wd complete for a very good price I would be able to pull bolt on from front hubs to complete that. My question is will the rearend bolt up to my springs or are there any differences I need to look at This truck is also going to be getting a 3"drop in the front and 5"in the rear. Any info would be great thanks

you need the complete rear end, and it should just bolt right up. also, you will need the front hub assembly, or the spacers that they use. Either one. you have a bed?

if you have a 350 rear end, it should bolt right up. A 450 or 550 rear might be wider. I am unsure.

Well the rear end would not fit it was not wide enough spring packs were narrow compared to my truck will have to start looking again. I did find out though that there is a difference in fram widths on these trucks

There is a difference between the 450/550 and the 250/350s?? I thought that might be the case. I know that the 350s and 250s have the same frame.
