Well, the widetrack monobeam front suspension is standard on the 08' F450's, and became an option on the F350 starting w/ build 2. However, to get it on the F350 you must order LWB, DRW, and 4x4 in order to get that option. The DRW is the piece I don't need and brings with it other hassles.

But the widetrack does make a huge difference: Imagine a longbed dually F350 or F450 CC that can out-turn a shortbed supercab F250 and you'll understand why I want it!

As to the suggestions re: upgrading the front end on my 08' F250, I have no idea where to start... I know the trucks with the widetrack option have fender flares on the front (just look at any 08' F450 pic) since the axle and thus the wheels are mounted further outboard. Hence the "widetrack" name despite that name giving the first impression that it turns wider.

So obviously I'd have to change out the front axle, the front quarterpanels (or perhaps just do a fender cut and kit?), and since I have a 4x4, would I need both axle pieces that go on either side of the diff, or would I need a whole new axle diff combo?
