White knuckle driving.

Just took the Supercab Longbed Dually through downtown Flint (MI)... lots of oneway streets and low speeds and packed traffic and sharp corners. I had to go to a store out there for some paint supplies and one of the roads, in the middle section of it all four lanes narrow. As in curbs are closer together not just the lines. I knew the road was like that and figured it would fit ... heheh barely, that was a TIGHT squeeze. I believe for maybe 1/2mi-1mi the lanes go from 10ft wide to maybe 8 1/2 ft wide.... that extra right wheel scuffed a couple curbs and took out a cardboard box in the road and someone's newspaper layin on the side LOL. I wouldn't go over 20-25 in a 35 and nobody would pass me lol how nice of them. The best part, my stuff was $20 cheaper than I thought and there's an Admiral station with Diesel $0.25 cheaper than anywhere else in the county! 3.99!

Anybody else been in a tight spot like that, other than parking? (which was very tight too )

Ya my son is going to the College of Charleston in downtown Charleston, SC. It's the same of one way streets and tight roads. When I drive down there on the side streets I just drive down the center of the road. People get out of the way when they see my fat bottom comin

Mine is not a dually but it may as well be in the parking lot where I work. It was designed for very small cars and us psd drivers have a hard time. Then people park on the end where there is no spot so I have to cut and back and cut again to make each turn, if it was a dually someone would be missing a few body parts by now. One of these days I am gonna run over someones little ricer just for parking where there is no spot and I am getting tired of it. Think if I run over 1 or 2 the rest will get the point??? You guys would have no hope in this parking lot.

I remember in my old 99 expy I was towing my sled trailer to my house and it was a big snowfall day. As I'm coming up the hill to my house (two way undevided suburb road) there are two cars on either side with very minimal clearance. Basically with the snow pushing the cars into the road, two cars there, and my overthelegal width trailer it made for one tight spot. The ***** part was those guys left their cars on the road after they plowed their driveways and left em there, and the whole street did that. So I got the truck through, half the trailer through, then had to turn to avoid another car and the trailer goes into a blind spot. So I'm like who gives a ****, if the trailer hits em it hits em. Got through thinking I didn't hit em, then when I got home I saw a HUGE scratch. The bed is 10 feet and it was an easy 7. I just chuckled because the way it was shapped it looked like it broken one of their mirrors. Only I went back without the trailer and saw no damage. And I know if I hit something. Weird.

Those all sound like a pain in the butt guys. fordmugg you got the most nerve racking. I have NO problem backing up, and a quarter mile isn't that far but DOWN a hill would be a little icky i think.

As for illegal sized trailers here is a good pic for ya. My dad did this when the truck was his.

We moved that shed (over 9.5ft wide and almost exactly 14.5ft high) home from a park about 3 miles away. We only had to move one powerline! LOL
