Exclamation 1999 F350 FRONT END CONVERSION

Hello Everyone,

First of my name is Yves, and it's a pleasure to join you all in this forum!

Now to the important stuff, I am having a frustrating issue with my 1999 F350.
I have searched for a similar situation in the forum but did not find one.

So the previous owner decided to do a front end conversion with parts from a 2006 f250... And I bought it this way, but it seems that the front bumper will not fit on right, he had some strange bolts holding it together and it was a bit off. The corner ends of the bumper were not lining up with the fender and the lights, they were instead raising above the fenders. So I took the bumper off and put it back on with the original bolts. But the bumper is still having the same issue. I am not sure if its the bumper that it not the right fit for my truck, or its where the bumper is hooked up to... Please help, I would like to do this myself if I could, since I just dropped $800 on other things that the truck needed...

Thanks

I am not familiar with the 05+ parts on 99-04.

Usually its a direct bolt on process I thought. I hope the bumper is not tweaked or anything. Does it still use the braces on the inside corners of the bumper?

Maybe a shim is needed on the bottom bolt where it mounts to the frame. Hopefully others with experience can help. That would drive me crazy.

I am not sure, to be honest, I thought it would fit on too, but lets not forget it came from a 250 not a 350...
