Upgrade Toward Retirement

Well we're planning for retirement anywhere from two months from now or by the end of the year. Part of our retirement planning is to upgrade to a 5th wheel camper (Home - Redwood Residential Vehicles). Moving up to the 5th wheel will require and upgrade in the truck department. Granted I still love my F250 SD but being 15 years old and 250K miles, it's starting to have some age issues. So.....we have a King Ranch dually on special order with basically everything ordered in it. It was suppose to come off the assembly line this week, but it didn't. So hopefully this coming week.

Lovely upgrades for sure.
What options on the truck? For those Redwoods, I'd want a 550, but that's me.

UPDATE: My truck came off of the assembly line this past Thursday. It's currently on a railcar up in Pennsylvania, and is due into Jessup MD tomorrow. The truck will be at the dealer sometime on Monday the 1st.

Did it come in? Sounds like your retirement plan is a lot like mine. People comment on the price of diesel fuel and how expensive it is... I just ask them if they've ever paid property and school taxes in NY....

let's see a picture!

Are you going to full-time for awhile? My wife and I did for about 5 years. We had a blast. Travelled a bit, saw some nice sights, and made some new friends. I'd recommend it to anyone. Good luck with your retirement.
