Just sold a 2500 in TX looking to have it transported to NJ was thinking of transporting it. Has anyone heard of a rate calculator does anything like this exist.

That's a bit high Dave. Most routes go for about 30-40 cents per mile. U can get pretty close to 2 dollars a mile when u ship enclosed, though.

there are tons of calculators out there, some are more accurate than others but u can usually get a pretty good baseline idea by using them. here's a list:
Car Shipping Rates CALCULATOR|Low cost Auto Transport Quotes
Car Shipping Rates Calculator | Instant Cheap Auto Transport Quotes | AmeriFreight Car Shipping and Auto Transport Company
Auto Transport Shipping Rates & Quotes CalCulator
Compare Auto Transport Quotes Online | American Auto Move

hope that's helpful

I'd say Dave was a bit high but there's no way 30 cents per mile is going to be the rate. I'd say closer to $1 a mile.

I'd agree $3/mile is a little high, but for an estimate I'd rather be over than under... I wouldn't move anything, even in the bed of my truck for $.30-.40/mile. But that's just me.

Cars might be $.30-.40/ mile, but a truck takes more space and weighs the same as 2-3 cars.
