F350 rear springs on F450?

I know there is a lot of discussion on here about the F450 ride quality. And I have also seen quite a few people mention the fact that the rear spring mounts, fitment, etc. is the same as an F450 with the difference being the u-bolts.

So my question is has anyone taken F350 springs and put them in the back of an F450? The F350's don't ride horrible and still maintain a reasonable payload. I'm just trying to eliminate the quick hard bounces of the F450, the F350 I feel has a little more absorption in the back.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

John

I ran an air bag hitch from kelderman. It replaces the rear spring mOunts so the sprIngs rode on airbags. As smooth as you wanted it, as well as the load benefits.

I have one for sale in NorCal for $650.
