Whats the correct way to lower my 03 and keep towing capacity?
I am wanting to lower my 03 2wd dually 3-4 inches in front and 4-5 in the rear but i would also like to retain the factory towing capabilities. Is there a "Kit" to do this or? Thanks

DJM suspension makes a 3/5 drop kit for the truck, uses beams in the front and shackle/hanger out back. The only thing is you have to remove the overlaod spring. So to keep your towing capacity, you would have to add a set of helper bags out back over the axel.
If you look through the lowered dually thread there is some guys showing their bag set ups. I cant tell you if there is a bag kit that will work with the shortened ride height, maybe somone can chime in that has done this. |
