Trans options?

I have an 85 1 ton Dually with 6.9 and 3spd c-6 auto. What trans upgrade opyions do I have with minimal work? I do haul and tow so strength is an issue. Any input or opinions would be appreciated.



BTW. I already have the Gear Vendor O/D on it and still only hit about 60ish at top speed.

Since you're on the west coast, I'd say contact John Wood of John Woods automotive. He's a Ford transmission Gruru. He's in Holtville, Ca (about as far south as you are north). But he ships and you can have a local install it
