6.0 or 6.4

so i am looking at getting a new dually. im looking at a 350 6.0 or a 450 6.4
o own a 2005 6.0 and like it never had any problems and i have rode in the 6.4 and the extra towing capability and power is a plus but i dont know much about the 6.4 but i really like the body style. i am aware of the delete kit and studs for the 6.0 as i have one but with 285,000 on it i need to replace it. i was just wondering what the 6.4s are all about and if its like the 6.0 where you do a few things to it (studs and delete kit) if it will make it a reliable engine. are you able to put the front end off of a 6.4 and put it on the 6.0 body style?

My brother has a 450 with a 6.4, i have a 550 with a 6.0, the only reason his is faster is the 4.10 gears mine has 4.88's, my truck will pull a house down in 4x4 low, and my 6.0 has tons more torque with the egr gone. The 6.0 is less labor to work on,the 6.4 plugs oil and egr coolers as quick as the 04 up 6.0, i like my 6.0 better than my '99 450 7.3,knowing what i do now about 6.0's i would buy another low mileage 6.0 before a 6.4 or a 7.3. The 7.3 was an oil slobbering pos, and the trannys were junk for heavy towing, personally i dont think a work truck needs twin turbos like the 6.4. I know alot guys with 6.4 troubles, and the 6.0 issues are well documented also, imo, i would buy the 6.0. Once you bulletproof 'em they are pretty reliable.
