Just did mine. I don't recall seeing the tach move when cranking, but then again I was watching rpm on my Insight. It took a long time. I ran the batteries way down, then charged them overnight. In the morning I started cranking again. At the last instant before quitting for a recharge, it lit. Some guys have reported 2 or 3 battery charging sessions.
Do you have an edge insight? The most interesting thing to watch is the ICP pressure. If it's not building; its not starting.
I poured a quart in the pocket below the oil cooler. On my initial cranking, ICP pumped up to about 1100 real fast. I had the injector relay out during that initial cranking. I jumped out of the truck, put the injector relay back in and started cranking. It built up to 400 then just fell off to zero. I used up my priming quart. Thats when I cranked it dead & recharged.
