Lowering my 02 2WD dually? thoughts? 24's?

well i wana lower my dually. the truck is a 02 2wd dually. i DD the truck and i also tow during the summer months, either a open trailer or a 24-28 foot enclosed both with a car.

im also gonna be putting 24" dually rims on it.

2/5 too much?

any pics would be great guys.

should i look into a bag kit bc i tow?

thanks just been shopping all day and wanted to ask. thanks in advance

Money permitting i would just out an air ride kit on it. Will ride great, height adjustable and can handle a ton of weight. Just a thought. Love lowered duallys

X2. I've always liked lowered trucks, but never liked the idea of having the truck 3-4 inches off the ground 100% of the time. I'll be going with bags if I ever get around to dropping one


Check with some of the guys that have posted pics of their rings in the lowered dually thread, might be able to get an idea of what it will look like. There's a black one riding around here CC LB with 24ish wheels and either a 2/5 or 3/5, looks SICK!!!

ya i have spoke with him, he has a DJM 2/5 kit. i wouldnt know where to start with bags as far as a company goes to be in the right direction. i have posted in that lowered dually thread. i will have to get in there and shoot a few pms. thanks guys i was thinking bags too.

Kp componentsmakes some of the best suspension parts that i know of. Used them on my harley f150. If not check out air ride tech. More pricey but may offer a full kit.

Sounds about right. Do it right the first time though. Spend the money on the right parts and it will ride like a dream and tow great. Should look killer too

i agree on doing it right. should be all done in summer of 2035 LOL

ya 7k on wheels! gonna wait and buy. i almost bought a set of 24's with tires on ebay but the guy eneded it early for 2500.. I WAS PISSED! told him i was ready to bid 3k! poor guy
