Anybody use GoodYear Wrangler Dura Track?
Buying an 06 F350 4x4 Dually today and I think it will need some new rear tires pretty soon. Thinking about going with GoodYear Wrangler Dura Track and change all the tires and get some matte black Rockstar rims.
Anybody try them out in snow? Anybody know how the Dura Tracks are? I like the rough look but not enough to get some hard core off road tires since I will stay mostly on paved roads. Another question are there any affordable larger rim and tire packages for the Dually? The ones that I have found are usually around 7 k and I am not willing to spend that kind of money at the moment. |

I have Duratracs on my 2002 Cummins 2500. They are great in the snow. Also, pretty quiet for the aggressiveness of the tread. Actually, quieter than the BFG T/A KO's that I run in the summer. I plow snow and they are great. I can't tell for sure how they will last, because I run different wheels and tires in the summer.

I have Good year silent armors on my dually now, due to they had the mileage warranty over the Dura Trac's. I tow about 10K on the weekends when racing season is on, and on the occasions we did get rained out the truck pulled it and the 10k trailer thru the mud quite nicely.
Just my thoughts. |
