97 F-Super Duty

Ive googled and googled but cant seem to find any real information on the 97 F-Super Duty. Can anyone tell me about this truck. I figured it was like an early F450 (since its rated at 15000 pounds insted of 10000 pounds for the F350), but what little information confuses me. I dont know the rear end ratio, what its rated for or what it can really pull! Any help with that kind of information sure would help.

Its a 97 2WD regular cab long bed dually. Just says F-Super Duty. Has a "5 speed" manual tranny (4 gears and one over drive and obviously a reverse).

Also Ive heard that a new air intake and 4" straight exhaust wont help with my fuel mileage too much. True or untrue? Thanks in advance

The intake and exhaust will help some, but a F-Superduty will be geared real low. It basically is a early F-450, check the door sticker or the tag on the axle for the gear ratio.
